PRO Fibre Amino: Innovative Nutrition for Healthy and Strong Horses
Share
Developed from practical experience and insights from miHealth scans
The development of this new Pro Fibre Amino feed is based on a combination of nutritional knowledge, practical experience, and insights we gather daily through miHealth scans of horses.
During these scans, we regularly see horses exhibiting symptoms where nutrition can play a significant role. In many cases, it is noticeable that rations with large amounts of grains, corn, molasses, and other starch- or sugar-rich ingredients can place an additional burden on the body. Therefore, we chose to develop a feed without grains, without molasses, and without added sugars.
But good nutrition is not just about what you omit. It is primarily about what you add to optimally support the horse.

A natural base of high-quality grasses
The base of this feed consists of a carefully selected mix of different grass species. These provide high-quality fibers that are essential for healthy gut function. Fibers naturally form the main food source for horses and support not only digestion but also natural chewing behavior and the well-being of the animal.
By combining different grass species, a broad spectrum of nutrients is created that better matches the horse's natural eating pattern.
Sainfoin and alfalfa: high-quality proteins from nature
To optimally support horses in growth, muscle building, and recovery, two particularly valuable crops were chosen: sainfoin and alfalfa.
Alfalfa is known for its high nutritional value and excellent amino acid profile. It provides quality proteins that contribute to the development and maintenance of strong muscles.
Sainfoin is a perfect complement to this. This leguminous crop not only contains high-quality proteins but is also valued for its natural composition and good digestibility. Furthermore, it contributes to a more varied ration that is closer to what horses would naturally consume.
Targeted muscle support with essential amino acids
Proteins are built from amino acids. Especially sport horses and young horses need sufficient essential amino acids to build, repair, and maintain muscles.
Therefore, this feed contains a powerful amino acid core that provides targeted support for muscle development and muscle recovery. This ensures horses not only receive sufficient proteins but, more importantly, the correct building blocks that the body can actually utilize.
Support for gut health
A healthy gut forms the basis of a healthy horse. Therefore, the feed was enriched with probiotics that contribute to a balanced gut flora.
A well-functioning gut flora supports nutrient absorption, aids the natural immune system, and contributes to the horse's overall vitality. Especially in sport horses, growing horses, and horses sensitive to stress, this support can be particularly valuable.
The power of herbs
In addition to high-quality fibers and protein sources, the feed also contains a carefully selected herbal mix. Herbs have been used for centuries as natural support within a healthy diet.
They contribute to the palatability of the feed and form a valuable addition within a holistic view of horse nutrition, where not only performance but also the general well-being of the horse is considered.
At Pro DHM, we believe that nutrition is one of the most powerful tools to keep horses healthy. By consciously choosing natural ingredients and avoiding burdensome components such as grains, molasses, and added sugars, we create a feed that supports the body instead of additionally stressing it.
In addition, we strongly believe in prevention. A balanced diet is, after all, one of the most important foundations for a healthy horse. By choosing quality, natural nutrition from a young age, owners can contribute to optimal development of muscles, tendons, joints, digestion, and general vitality.
This vision formed the basis for the development of the new Pro DHM feed Pro Fibre Amino
a product that is not only focused on performance and growth but also on supporting the horse's natural balance in the long term.
