Koen Vereecke Belgian Show Jumping Champion in Lanaken: top performance with Merryweather

What a fantastic achievement in Lanaken! Our miHealth Ambassador Koen Vereecke crowned himself Belgian Show Jumping Champion this year after a particularly exciting and sporting championship.

In Lanaken, Koen rode the mare Merryweather van ’t Leeuwerikenhof, who belongs to his good friend Freddy De Muynck. It was a championship to savor, with three rounds spread over Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The combination of Koen Vereecke and Merryweather remained faultless throughout the entire championship, successfully securing the Belgian title.

Three rounds, three times faultless

A Belgian championship requires not only speed and technique, but above all consistency, concentration, and trust between rider and horse. Koen and Merryweather demonstrated this perfectly in Lanaken.

They remained faultless over the three rounds. Each round brought new tension, but Koen kept a cool head and Merryweather jumped with the same conviction every time. The result: a wonderful Belgian title after a strong and consistent championship.

Merryweather in top form

Merryweather is regularly scanned and treated with the miHealth system by the De Muynck family and Koen. Much attention was also paid to her well-being and fitness in the preparation for the championship.

It was clearly visible that Merryweather appeared at the start in top form during the championship. She jumped energetically, focused, and with confidence. For us, it is particularly rewarding to see that a horse with which our ambassador performs at the highest level has also been supported with miHealth within the De Muynck family for years.

15 years of trust in miHealth

Koen Vereecke has also been a user of the miHealth system for about 15 years. Over all those years, he has integrated miHealth into the daily guidance and care of his horses.

In addition to miHealth, Koen also uses our PRO DHM herbal products. For him, the combination of attention to training, recovery, care, nutrition, and support is an important part of managing his horses.

The fact that Koen still trusts our systems and products after so many years means a lot to us. Especially when we see how he combines this trust with his experience as a top rider and with the daily care of his horses.

A title to be proud of

The Belgian championship in Lanaken was one of sportsmanship, excitement, and class. Completing three rounds faultless at a championship of this level is an exceptional achievement.

We are therefore incredibly proud of our miHealth Ambassador Koen Vereecke and, of course, Merryweather van ’t Leeuwerikenhof.

Congratulations, Koen, Freddy, and the entire De Muynck family on this wonderful Belgian title!

Here’s to many more great performances together!
